How To Prepare Your Artwork

  • Generally speaking, files made in office software are not suitable. Sometimes we are able turn those files into a usable form, but that often will require an additional charge.
  • If your artwork contains fades we prefer dot based files like those made in Adobe Photoshop – PSD, TIFF, or JPEG (least preferred). Graphics should be created at 300 dpi or higher in RGB mode at the size you would like the artwork printed.
  • If your artwork is made up of solid lines and/or type we prefer vector type files like those made in Adobe Illustrator – AI, EPS, or PDF. Make sure to either convert any type to outlines or include the fonts.

Image Sizes

Maximum adult/unisex print size – 15” wide by 17.5“ tall
Maximum sleeve print size – 4” wide by 16“ long
Maximum Toddler print size – 9” wide by 12.5” tall

Screen printed images are not scaleable on the press. The only way to print designs at various sizes is to make a separate set of film and screens, which can be very expensive.

If you are looking to make a large print on adult sizes and you would also like to print onto fitted women’s tees, larger youth sizes, or XS tees, consider that these smaller tees only have about 11” inches of printable space between the sleeves. If you are designing for this kind of situation, you may want to make the top of your artwork less wide than the maximum.
